A condominium located in downtown Calgary sought assistance with adding EV charging to their property.
We completed a load study, and determined that EV charging could be made available to all units if an Electric Vehicle Energy Management System (EVEMS) was installed.
Working with the owners, the RVE SMP+ Electric Vehicle Energy Management System (EVEMS) was selected to provide load management for all EV chargers without monthly per-charger administrative fees.
The detailed engineering design was completed, containing all of the plans and specifications required to install EV chargers at 37 parking stalls.
An experienced contractor completed all procurement and the installation was completed in a safe and efficient manner.
Greenwire Engineering assisted the condominium with their ChargeYYC grant application, responded to clarifications from the City of Calgary, and was present during commissioning to observe load sharing behavior and identify any deficiencies.
